nice man!! are you going to do it?!
move along now
Hes wrong. you need to press on the cam reluctor wheel and shorten the cam, you MUST cut off the end of the intake cam
It doesnt require a wideband, but one is beneficial for proper tuning. The part number I was looking at was a stage 2 cam. It doesn't require a wideband o2 sensor nor an adj. fuel pressure regulator. They also said they would recommend a tune. They recommended Diablo...I told them about trifecta and they said that would be fine. And he said it wouldn't throw a CEL.
You cant install an adjustable FPR without reengineering the fuel system.
Yes you need a tune.
Diablo doesnt offer a tuning solution for the 2007-08 L61
Trifecta will be fine, it and LS2Edit are the only options.
It will throw a CEL if you dont tune.
You dont HAVE to but as with any cam they make it possible to dial in and properly install the camsI would not have to get adj. cam gears.
Yup, youll do that even without the cams, you should get the 2.4 manifold now, regardless of whether you get cams or notI did ask them about the 2.4 manifold swap and he said that I would lose hp at the beg. but gain it back in the mid and high end.
I'd recommend them too.But he also recommended valve springs with this cam.
If youre going turbo you should wait and get the turbo cams. You should get the 2.4 manifold regardless, its absolutely the most hp per dollar of any mod shy of nitrous.I did ask him would this cam be good with a turbo set up and he said it would be fine. He also recommended if I was going turbo one day that it would be nice to get the 2.4 manifold.
