Post How to Replace your Cabin Air Filter

    Tools needed
    None

You'll need to open your glove box

there's two tabs w/rubber around them that hold the glove box up. push those in and lowwer the glove box down till it gets stopped by the retractable string

now remove the retractable string from the side of the glove box. Just let it go into the dash, it's easily accessable.

Now you can remove the glove box. There's three steps to this. lift the box up push it down and then lift it off. The two pics I have are of the first two steps.

Now that the glove box is removed, release the tree tabs from the filter cover

pull old filter out (blow out with air hose if you want and replace with new one.

Put back together in revese order

How often should we change it and can we get it from anywhere other than a dealer?

Thanks everyone. The idea came to me when IMA told me that he didn't know there was one. LOL. Imagine that!

I'm trying to figure out how often you should change it. I'll post it up once I find out. I haven't been able to find one anywhere but the dealership yet

i only change it when it starts to smell like horse piss is coming from my vents.... then febreeze the hell out of the new filter.

    generally its 30,000-50,000 miles.
