Sneak Peek 2010 Cobalt

Pics taken from GM's desert proving grounds show the prototype of the 2010 model year Cobalt...Codenamed GMX071. It no longer rides on the Delta platform, but instead will be on GM's Global Compact Vehicle Architecture.

The next Cobalt will share many components as well as styling features with the Daewoo Lacetti, including a large portion of the body. The two cars will not be 100% identical, they will have different front and rear clips, headlights and tail lights. Expect production to start in July or August of 2009.

Lol, i live like 2 miles from the GM proving grounds in Mesa, AZ.. During monsoon season, all their fencing with LARGE brush around the entire place, it blows down a lot! Always see crews out there in the middle of the night putting the fence back up and bringing in more LARGE brush.. its pretty funny.

I don't get it man. They should have kept that daewoo partnership under wraps, lol. Daewoo makes tv's and even those are junk. I'm not digging the body lines. I know it's under a lot of camo and what not but it looks like something daewoo would put out.
